Ruth Adeline Picard, 93, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2004, in the Lutheran Home at Toledo. Ruth was born in Grelton, OH, on September 27, 1910, to Albert and Loie Belle (Sloan) Snyder. Mrs. Picard was an active Red Cross volunteer, life long charter member of the St. Charles Hospital Guild and a member of the KAY-C-ETTES Ladies Auxiliary. Ruth was a very loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death in 1981 by her husband of 50 years, Marc.
Surviving are her children, Marc (Tina); daughter, Ruthann Sinclair; 6 grandchildren; 3 step granddaughters, 19 great-grand-children; 7 step great-grand-children; 3 great-great-grand-children and many nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by her brother, Claude, and sister, Mildred Lang.
Visitation will be held at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, on Wednesday, September, 8 2004 from 11 a.m. until the funeral service time at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Grelton Cemetery, Henry County. Contributions in Ruth's memory can be made to the Lutheran Home at Toledo or St. Louis Helping Hands.
