Ruth P. Ragland, 94, of Toledo, passed away on October 18, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 12, 1922 to Thomas and Nancy (Biggs) Cook. Ruth worked at St. Regis Paper Company for 37 years before retiring in 1983. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was a lifelong member at Echo Meadows Church of Christ. Ruth is survived by her children, James (Dorothy) Ragland Sr. and Pam (Chuck) Hyndman; grandchildren, James Ragland Jr., Beth Kruzel,, Deanna Dunaway, Terry Ragland, Charles Hyndman Jr. and Jonathan Hyndman; 17 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and 1 on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie O. Ragland; parents; and 6 brothers and sisters. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday, October 22 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
