Ruth E. Rahla, 85, formerly of Oregon, OH passed away on April 16, 2006 in Genoa Care Center. After a life of caring for other people, Ruth has been called home where she will be cared for.  She was born in Toledo, OH on January 28, 1921 to Jesse and Marie (Muphy) Parker. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and of the Daughters of Herman Lodge for over 60 years.    Surviving are her son, Jeffery; 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren;  brother, Edward Parker; sisters, Virginia Wiegand, Gerry Buck, Rosemary Woodall, Barbara Starner and Sarah Westfal. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Chick, sons, Thomas and David Rahla, and daughter-in-law, Kathy Rahla.   Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy in Ruth's memory can be made to Hospice of NW Ohio.
