Ruth L. Schmidlin, 93, of Toledo, OH passed away October 31, 2006 in her home. She was born in Wauseon, OH to John and Bertha (Meier) Goldsmith. Ruth was a member of St. Petri's Lutheran Church in Maumee, OH.   Surviving are her children, Dean (Joyce) Schmidlin; daughters, Janice (Michael) Matuszak and Marilyn Schmidlin; sister, Violet Peg Weigel; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gilbert Schmidlin.   Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery.  Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Ruth's memory are asked to consider St. Petri's Lutheran Church, 3120 S.
