Ruth M. Schwartz, 94, of Walbridge, OH passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2005 in Heartland of Oregon. She was born on July 1, 1911 in Defiance, Ohio to Oscar and Golda (Bowner) Roberts. On January 21, 1931 she married Carl Schwartz. Ruth worked as the credit manager for the former Tiedtke's Departments Store for 15 years. Surviving is her loving husband of 74 years, Carl; children, Carl (Janet) Schwartz, Caryl (Richard) Smenner, David (Maria) Schwartz,; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Irene Scarlatto, Violet Bristow and Betty Minnick; brothers, Richard, Dale, Jack and Bud Roberts. There will be no visitation and private family services will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Ave. on Wednesday. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Ruth's name may be given to Heartland Hospice.
