Ruth Whitmore, 90, formerly of Northwood, Ohio, passed away July 14, 2008, at Hilty Memorial Home in Pandora, OH. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 19, 1918, to Albert and Eva (Fellabaugh) Mickens. Ruth had been employed as a cafeteria worker for Northwood Schools at Lark Elementary. She had been a member at Calvary Assembly of God. Surviving are her children, Janet (Paul) Freeman, Susan Pioch, and Roy (Marvene) Whitmore; brother, Albert Mickens Jr.; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grand-children and 1 great-great-grand-daughter. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Whitmore; son, Ralph, and her brothers and a sister. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Thursday, July 17, 2008, from 2-8 p.m. Private graveside services and interment will be in Willow Cemetery.
