Sally Lengel, age 76, went to meet her Lord and Savior on June 19, 2024 at her home. Sally was born on June 11, 1948 in Toledo, Ohio.

As a child, Sally attended Franklin Elementary and graduated from Waite High School in 1966. Sally worked at Jobst Institute as a supervisor for many years, which she loved and met new people and became friends. Sally married her husband, Mark, at their home on February 18, 1992.

She enjoyed playing bingo, Hollywood Casino, fishing, and her dog, Shadow. She was known for her witty personality and her one liners. Sally could and would seek out people that didn't look happy and she would turn their sadness into a smile somehow. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Sally leaves behind her devoted husband, Mark Lengel, of 32 years; children Tim (Lisa) Oliver, Michelle (Tim) Kamelesky and Mark (Diana) Lengel; grandchildren, Dominic and Cody Giovanoli, Carter Kamelesky, Ava, Sofia and Ella Lengel; sister, Debra (Jameel) Bakhsh; brothers, Gary (Judy) and Kelly (Jamie) Popovitch; and many nieces and nephews.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, John and Noreen Popovitch; sister, Sue Smith; and grandson, Dennis "D.J." Bryant.

The family would like to extend their graditude to the University of Michigan Ann Arbor for taking great care of Sally with so much compassion.

Friends and family may visit Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, Ohio on Monday, June 24, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be private for the family. Expressions of sympathy in Sally's name may be directed to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
