Sally A. Matteau, 73, of Millbury, Ohio and formerly of Milford and Webster, Massachusetts passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Bay Park Hospital in Oregon, Ohio. She was born in Milford, Massachusetts on December 15, 1942 to Ernest A. and Theda P. (Knights) White. Sally was married to her loving husband Joseph R. Matteau until his passing in 1989. Sally was a dedicated crafter, well known to many for her quilts, Christmas ornaments and numerous other handmade gifts. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah A. Matteau; son, Dean R. Hazard; granddaughter, Deanna M. Hazard; brother, Richard E. White; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and her grandson Nicholas G. Hazard. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home in Oregon, Ohio is helping with the arrangements.
