Sally A. Porter, 70, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at her residence. Sally was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 24, 1946 to Harry and Una (Siewert) Porter. As a child, Sally was diagnosed with Polio; however, she never let her condition stop her. She was active in wheelchair dancing and completed the New York City Wheelchair Marathon. Sally worked at Everlight Distributing for many years. Her hobbies included: fishing, arts and crafts, and spending time with family and friends. Sally is survived by her siblings, Gerald Porter, James (Darlene) Porter, Patsy (Wayne) Lindsay, Harry (Shirley) Porter, and Susan (John) Van Slyke; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Carl and Dale Porter. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, (east of I-280) on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 11:00 am until time pf memorial service at 1:00 pm.
