Samantha June, 14, was born on July 29, 1997 in Toledo, Ohio to Darell and Heather (Pratt) June. She passed away July 11, 2012 at Toledo Hospital in her loving parent'™s arms. Samantha was well loved by everybody. She never met someone that she didn'™t like or didn'™t like her. She enjoyed being the watergirl for the Oakdale football team and helping out with the cheerleaders. She also enjoyed hanging out with her girls. Samantha loved playing basketball, running track, and especially getting some ice cream at Chuggy'™s. If you ever met Samantha you knew to offer her a piece of gum, otherwise she had probably already helped herself to a piece. Samantha leaves behind her loving parents; brothers, Jordan Pratt and Tre June; grandmother Joyce June, 'œPapa' Cary; great-grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Denny (Finley) Grubb; great-grandfather Ross Finley Sr.; many aunts and uncles; bestest friend Ciera Brewer; best male friend Tonio, a host of loving cousins; her awesome six pack aunts; and her canine Weiser. She was preceded in death by her 'œNana' Cindy (Matney) Altenbaugh; grandpa Gary Matney; cousin Desirae; great-grandparents Hope and Vincent Friedell; great grandma Gladys Fizer; and great-grandma Mildred Finley. Visitation will be held on Saturday July 14th from 2-9 p.m. and Sunday July 15th from 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday July 16th at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
