Sandra "Sandi" Kay Armstrong, 71, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 16. 2016 at Heartland of Oregon. She was born in Watertown, South Dakota on August 22, 1944 to Donald and Avanell "Peggy" (Williams) Shaneck. Sandi worked as clerk with the Fashion Bug for several years. She was a wonderful artist, enjoying bowling, softball and spending time with her family. Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Marty A.; daughter, Dianne Lynn Wetzel; sister, Donna L. (Eugene) Goncz; grandchildren, Derrick M. Wetzel, Sarah R. Weidner and Jace C. Layton; great grandchildren, Jocelyn K. Weidner, Charlotte Mae Wetzel, Daniel William Wetzel and Rebecca Lynn Wetzel. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 2 pm – 8 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:30 am with entombment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
