Sandra Ruth Neefe, 79, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at her home. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 24, 1940 to Fred and Ruth (LaFever) Dalton. After graduating from High School, Sandra held many positions throughout her life. She was an amazing cook, enjoyed baking, making desserts and crafting. She taught several of her children how to sew and made several of their outfits during their childhood. Sandra was an extremely hard worker always providing for her family. What she cherished most were her grandchildren. Sandra is survived by her children, Cynthia (Richard) Manteuffel, James Fix, Laura Gust, Alison Smith, Joseph (Angela Vallez) Fix, Constance Fix, Catherine (John) Lowry; siblings, Fred Dalton Jr., Doris Dunlap, Tom Dalton, Susan Bynum; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 8 siblings; and son-in-laws, Tom Smith and Robert Gust The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 1:00 pm until the time of funeral service at 4:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the American Heart Association.
