Sandra K. Rank, 66, of Temperance, Michigan, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 surrounded by her family. Sandra was born in Milan, Michigan on January 11, 1947 to Charles and Monica (Welch) Merritt. On June 14, 1980 she married James Rank. Sandra worked at Toledo Hospital for 31 years, the last 18 as a nurse before retiring in June of 2012. She had a true passion for being a nurse and taking care of her patients. Sandra enjoyed making jewelry, training horses as a child, and loved spoiling all of her grandchildren. She adored spending time with her family and will be truly missed by all. Sandra is survived by her husband; children; Larry (Dawn) Rank, Brian (Karen) Rank, Kevin (Annette) Rank; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until memorial services at 6:00 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
