Sandra A. (Morse) Stow, 66, of Curtice, Ohio passed away on July 18, 2016 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 17, 1949 to John L. and Betty L. (Eggleston) Morse. Sandra graduated from Start High School in 1967 and continued her education at Com-Tech where she earned degrees in health technology and business technology. In 1975 she was awarded the Alumnus of the Year Award. Following Com-Tech she earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Toledo. Sandra was listed in the Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges and was an Outstanding Young Woman of America in 1980. She belonged to the University of Toledo Chapter of the Lambda Beta National Honor Society for Respiratory Therapy and was a member of the Sigma Iota Chi Sorority. Sandra was a pioneer in the respiratory field in a joint educational venture of the University of Toledo and St. Charles Hospital. She was a long-term member of the Cooley Canal Yacht Club, the Toledo Elks Lodge #53 and the Moose Lodge #1610.
Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Robert; sister-in-law, Susan (Robert) Coburn; niece, Stacey (Ben) Yonce; cousin, Nancy (Paul) Deal. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John.
Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will take place in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
