Sandra L. Tong, 70, of Toledo , passed away Saturday, January 23, 2010 at St Luke's Hospital, Maumee . She was born in Toledo , Ohio to Arnold and Ethel Mae (King) Schimming. Sandy worked as an administrative assistant with Spartan Chemical for over 25 years, retiring in 2009. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, going to dinner with friends, and was a long time supporter of Junior Achievement in Toledo . Sandy was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church , Toledo . Sandy is survived by her husband Larry, step-mother Margaret Schimming; siblings, Delbert Schimming, Mark (Bobbie) Kerchman, Arnold Schimming, Sue (Tom) Overmier, and Larry Schimming; special friends Sandra (John) Powell-Northy, Doris Incledon, and Nancy Brown. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
