Sandra K. Tornai "The Warden" 65, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 6 2022 at her home. Sandy was born July 8 1957 in Toledo Ohio to Clarence and Juanita (Sheets) Adlington. July 25, 1987, she married the love of her life, Stephen Tornai. Sandy loved fishing, crafting, baking delicious treats with Steve, decorating her yard for the holidays, shooting pool, and playing shuffleboard. She was a longtime member of Rossford Eagles Arie 2322 and Northwood VFW Post #2984 Auxiliary. Cherished by all who loved and knew her, Sandy was a caregiver to many and enjoyed meeting friends for lunch. Her greatest joy was playing games with and loving her grandchildren.

Sandy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Steve; children, Kevin (Teresa) Tornai, Shawna Wilson, Jason (Amy) Tornai, and Autum (Brian) May; grandchildren, Presley, Charley, Haley, TJ, Hayden, and Keegan; siblings, Janet Lawson, Karen Wertz, Barbara (Nelson) Antisdel, Melanie Riebe, Natalie Riebe, Lori (Kenn) Jamison, Lynn (Pat) Scott, Paul (Sharon) Adlington, George (Joyce) Adlington, Greg (Dee) Riebe and Mark (Carlene) Tornai; along with a plethora of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, loving family members and dear friends. Preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Brendan Rody; in-laws, Stephen and Shirley Tornai; and siblings, Ronald (Wanda) Adlington, Robert (Annette) Adlington, Jeff (Vicki) Riebe, and Larry (Jeanie) Tornai.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Sunday, November 13 from 12:00 pm until time of Eagles and funeral service at 3:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice. Sandy's family wishes to thank Sherry Cundiff and the Rossford Eagles Auxiliary & Sandi Husband and the Northwood VFW Auxiliary for their tireless work organizing the benefit "Sandy's Warriors'. Special mention to Renee and Katie with Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their gentle care and love showed to Sandy and her family in their time of mourning.
