Santa Celestino, 67, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on April 12, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 5, 1947 to Gilberto and Maria (Miranda) Celestino. Santa worked in the Hospitality field as a Nurse's Aide for many years. She moved to Portland in 1994 and was a Portland Trailblazers fan. Aside from work, she enjoyed volunteering at church, bingo, shopping and music. Santa also loved spending time with her family. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.
Surviving is her mother; daughter, Diane (Bob) Schumaker; sons, Ray Campos and Christopher Graves; grandsons, Dean (Valerie) Campos, Ray (Veronica) Campos and Brandon Campos; granddaughters, Heather and Alexis Campos; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Augustine (Mary) Celestino and Martin Miranda; sister, Jane (Tony) Hernandez; Darrell; special friend, Norma Hernandez; former daughter-in-law, Laurie Campos; many nieces and nephews; and the rest of the Campos family. She was preceded in death by her father, Gilberto Celestino; and daughters, Cindy and Amy Campos.
Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, 440 South Coy Road Oregon, Ohio on Friday, April 17 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. There will also be visitation on Saturday, April 18 at St. Rose Catholic Parish, 215 E. Front Street, Perrysburg, Ohio from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions can be directed to St. Rose Catholic Parish or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
