Sarah Mae Claar, 54 of Northwood, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Friday. December 7, 2012. Sarah was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 25, 1958. Her father, Jake and mother, Sarah (Earl) Borer who preceded her in death. Sarah worked for Lakewood Greenhouse doing what she loved most- working with flowers and plants. When not working, you could find her at home gardening or watching the many hummingbirds that you would see flying around her plants and yard. She enjoyed the company of her husband and her dog Buffy. Surviving are her loving husband of 34 years, Don; step-father, Don Spieldenner; father-in-law, Jack Claar; brother, Jim Borer; step brothers and sisters, Cindy (David) Zorn, Ron (Sheryl) Spieldenner, Becky Massie; Brian, Brenda, Donnie Spieldenner; brother and sister ��"in-law, Rick (Jackie) Claar, Peggy Cly. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road east of I-280 on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and where her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m.. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Sarah'™s memory are asked to consider the Wood County Humane Society or the Donor'™s choice.
