Sarah H. Horvath, 83, of Pemberville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2004, in Bay Park Community Hospital. Sarah was born in Toledo on July 4, 1920, to Charles and Bertha (Kervesdi) Bertok. She was the widow of Michael J. Horvath. Mrs. Horvath was a member of Calvin United Church of Christ and a 50 year member of the local Millbury ladies bunco group. Surviving are her daughter, Penny (Bob) Patterson; grandchildren, Rebecca Baumbarger, Regina Lewandowski, Chris (Katie) Patterson, Nicole Parsons, Rusty Patterson; 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lola Blanchong, Ida Gaskill, Irene Patke and brother, Charles Amol Bertok. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road in Millbury on Sunday, April 4, 2004 from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Sarah's memory are asked to consider the Alzheimer Association.
