Scott D. Pier, 67, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 8, 1956 to Arthur and Ezelle (Williams) Pier. Scott attended Waite High School and would go on to work as a laborer for most of his life, but his true passion was cars. He loved looking at and working on old cars. Scott was a selfless man that was there to help anyone in need. He was a family guy and had the ability to make anyone laugh. What he cherished most was his family and grandchildren.

Scott is survived by his daughter, Cassandra (Chip Tate) Pier; son, Eric (Laura) Biel; 7 grandchildren; sister, Michelle Bell; and brother, Steve (Pat) Pier. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Cathy Peart.

Family and friends may visit Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, Friday, December 22, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of family sharing and remembrance at 7:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Scott's name may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
