Sevelia Tutty M. Brough, of East Toledo, OH went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 19, 2007 with her family by her side. She was born July 3, 1922 in Oak Harbor, Ohio to Michael and Alma (Cutcher) LaFountain. Tutty was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, raising 5 children with her husband, Gordon, who preceded her in death in 2001. During World War II she worked at the US Army Erie Proving Grounds testing 105 millimeter Howitzers. Tutty was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. She leaves wonderful memories with all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Tutty is survived by her daughters, Sharon Rydman, Karen (James) Larson and Carol Rickner; sons, Gordon (Barbara) and Jeffrey Brough; sisters, Arvilla (Karl) Bednarik and Margie (Dick) Molnar; 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; many loving nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. She also was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert , Raymond and Lambert LaFoutain and sisters, Verna Slater, Gertrude Burmeister and Viola Brooks.
Visitation will be held in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Sunday, April 22, 2007 from 2 until 9 pm where a scripture service will be held at 7 pm. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Monday at 9:45 am and proceed to Good Shepherd Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are to consider Good Shepherd Church.
