Sharen L. Otey - Rollman, 68, of Oregon, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. She was born on April 16, 1943 to Marvin and Betty (Cupp) Norwine. Sharen was a 1961 graduate of Sylvania Burnham High School. For many years, Sharen was employed with NFO Research, Collins and Parker Pharmacy and WSOS Head Start. She enjoyed working in her yard and tending her many flower beds. Her true passion was spending time with her family, especially her grandson Timothy. Sharen is survived by her husband, David Rollman; children, Diane (David Baker) Otey, Janet (Tim) Zale, and Jeff Otey; grandson, Timothy Zale; step-grandchildren, Lauren Hughes and Kristy Zale; twin sister, Karen (Dennis) Kennedy; nieces, Denise Walsh and Debbie Kennedy; along with the father of her children, Stephen Otey. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, November 18th from 2;00-9:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 am Saturday in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
