Sharon I. Hartman, 78, of Waterville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. She was born in Tiffin, Ohio on August 10, 1944 to Rudolph and Vivian (Towne) Gerten. After graduating from high school, she went on to obtain her bachelor's and then worked as an LPN at Spring Meadows Extended Care. Sharon was an avid reader, reading 7-8 books a week. She was an animal lover and especially loved her dogs and cats but what she cherished most was her family.

She is survived by her children, Michelle Lutz and Robert Hartman; grandchildren, Arron (Beth) Hartman, Amber (Travis) Haubert; great-grandchildren, Mason Hartman, Remi Haubert and one on the way; many other loving family members; and special dog, Dorie. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; brother, Michael Gerten and son-in-law, Richard Lutz.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road, Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of Celebration of Life at 6:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Sharon's name may be directed to Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio or Animal Charity of Donor's Choice.
