Sharon L. Ramirez, 71, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Sharon was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 8, 1943 to Maynard and Edith (Montry) Sterling. She enjoyed gardening and was a dedicated Denver Broncos fan. Her true passion was spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sharon is survived by her children, Don (Miriam Simon) Collins, Debbie (Jim) Carlo, JoAnn (John) Witkowski, Ray (Teresa Becerra) Ramirez, and Jeanine (Wendell Fawver) Ramirez; 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren; brother Jim (Peggy) Sterling; special nieces, Dawn and Cheryl; along with many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Shirley and Colleen. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 2:00 pm until time of funeral service at 7:00 pm. Interment will be private.
