Sharon L. Richard, 78 of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 9, 2023 surrounded by her family. Sharon was born May 23, 1944 in Toledo, Ohio to Glen and Bertha (Huff) Danison. She attended Waite High School and devoted her life to caring for her family. Throughout her life, Sharon was an avid reader enjoyed hosting holiday gatherings, summer pool parties, and decorating her home for Christmas. Her greatest love was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with summer family vacations with her husband to Hilton Head SC.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bryan; children, Kelli (Mike) Nichols, Greg Richard, Kristine Richard, and Lisa Carr; grandchildren, Ashleigh (Kevin) Tresso, Kelsie Nichols, Jeremy Richard and Jake Richard; great-grandchildren, Tucker and Parker; twin sister, Karen Murray; and beloved brother-in-law, Frank Bernath. Preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Glen Danison Jr., Judy (Kenny) DeArmond; and sister-in-law Glorya (Richard) Bernath.

A private celebration of Sharon's life will be held for family and friends. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the American Diabetes Association. Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements
