Sharon M. Wilson, 82 of Oregon, Ohio, passed away in her residence on Sunday, September 2, 2018. Sharon was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 1, 1935 to Richard and Marie (Cutcher) Hergenrather. Sharon had retired from St. Charles Mercy Hospital where she had been a secretary. Sharon was a very strong woman and independent; always dressed to the nines. She fought Alzheimer disease until the very end. She was a devout catholic and was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
Sharon was a good wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be missed by her children, Raymond (Julie); Shelly (Ken) Ewing; sister, Rita (Tom) Durfy; grandchildren, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; parents, Richard and Marie; brother, Ken; sons, Greg and Michael.
Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 Stadium Rd. at 11:00 a.m. and where the family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Sharon's name are asked to consider the Alzheimer's Association. Mom, we love you and hope you are now at Peace.
