Shelvia J. Loving, 83, formerly of Northwood, Ohio, died Sunday, March 30, 2025 in Leland, North Carolina. Shelvia was born June 6,1941, in Wet Branch, West Virginia to Charles and Margaret (Woods) Moore. On December 18, 1959, she married James Loving Sr. She was a longtime member of Monclova Road Baptist Church. Shelvia is survived by her children, Jay (Kathy) Loving Jr. and Denise (Tim) Moore; grandchildren, Shaun, Jon and Kate; great grandson, Michael; and sister, Janet (Wilbur) Kirkendall. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; and sister, Patricia Webb.
