Sherri (Bolander) Long, 54, of Toledo, passed away Monday evening August 29, 2022, unexpectedly at her residence. Sherri was born in Oregon, Ohio on June 13, 1968 to William and Karen (Miller) Bolander. Following graduation from Northwood High School, Sherri ventured out west to Arizona. In November of 1990 she married the love of her life, Roger Long. She was currently employed with BGSU working in the library. She was an active supporter of the Girl Scouts of America. Sherri's daughter Grace, was a member of the NW Ohio troop #11002 that sold the most cookies in Ohio. Sherri also loved crafting; custom vinyl t-shirts, Holiday items, and picture frames. Sherri's true love was being with her family and extended family, like day trips to Marblehead or family vacations to Ocean City, or just hanging out with friends.

Surviving are her loving husband, Roger; daughter, Grace; mother, Karen (James) Patterson; father, William (Judith) Bolander; siblings, William Bolander Jr., Chad (Laura) Bolander; mother-in-law, Betty Long; sister-in-law, Valerie Kurth; brother-in-law, Don Long. Also surving are aunt and uncle, Bonnie (Dean) Bohlen, and Susan Tipton; nephews, Joshua, Egan, and Everett Bolander; neice, Jessa Bolander; and many cousins and friends. Sherri was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Elizabeth Bolander, June and Stanley Miller; and father-in-law, William Long.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio where her Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, September 7 at 11:00 am.
