Sheryl L. Blanton, 52, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2009, in Mercy St. Charles Hospital. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 29, 1957, to Ralph and Loretta (Wiles) Ullrich. Sheryl was employed as a medical surgical technician with Toledo Hospital and as a secretary with Cherrydale Farms. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her granddaughter, Amber. Sheryl was active with the Ovarian Cancer Group of the Toledo Victory Center and touched deeply any staff and patients she became associated with. Surviving are her husband, William; son and special daughter-in-law, Eric and Linda; granddaughter, Amber; parents, Ralph and Loretta Ullrich; father and mother in-law, Bill and Violet Blanton; brother, Marc Ullrich and sister, LeeAnn Ullrich. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Tuesday from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. The family suggests memorial contributions in Sheryl's memory be given to the American Cancer Society or Toledo Victory Center.
