Shirley Grace Eggert, 81, formerly of Curtice , Ohio , passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Shirley was born in Toledo , Ohio , on April 1, 1929, to Bert and Bertha Peppers. On October 18, 1947, she married Glen Eggert Sr. who preceded her in death in Dec 2010. Shirley was employed with the former Toledo Sports Arena for 17 years. She was a longtime member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Curtice , Ohio until moving in with her daughter in Gibsonburg , Ohio, where she attended Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Shirley enjoyed Bowling, Ceramics, Bluegrass music but most of all she enjoyed her children and grandchildren. Shirley is survived by son, Glen (Jan) Eggert Jr. of Friendswood, Texas; daughters, Kathy (Dan) Oberski of Toledo, Ohio, Becky (Trudy) Potter, of Tempe, Arizona, and Judy (Jerry) Bullock, of Gibsonburg, Ohio; grandchildren, Todd Eggert, Kelly Lindell, Jody Surliffe, Shane Potter, Stacy Owad, Jessie Fox, Brook McCasskill, Elisha Ringenberg; 15 great-grandchildren. Brother Don Peppers, sisters Ginny Thayer & Sis Mack. She was preceded in death by her husband and by her parents, and two sisters and three brothers. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel 1111 Woodville Road Millbury on Sunday from 2-8 pm where funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 11 am. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
