Shirley Holmes, 78, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on March 21, in Maumee, Ohio. She was born in Toledo, Ohio to Charles and Ruby Malone. Shirley married her husband of 43 years, Maynard Holmes in 1953. Shirley was an assistant treasurer for Stanley & Lakefront Federal Credit Union for 27 years. She was a member of East Toledo Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons; Maynard Lee (Laurie) Holmes, and Charlie Holmes; and daughter; Julie Naiber; grandchildren; Nicholas and Garrett Holmes. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son-in-law. Family and friends may visit Eggleston-Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel on Monday March 26th from 2-9:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday March 27th at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Word of Truth Christian Center.
