Shirley F. Koenig, 65, of Northwood, OH passed away February 25, 2004 in her home. She was born September 29, 1938 in Northwood, OH to Lawrence and Frances (Grosjean). Shirley was employed by the US Post Office as a clerk for 30 years. Through the years Shirley also worked at Woolworths and Lakewood Green House. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and was an avid gardener. Surviving are her mother, Frances Koenig; brothers, Donald (Velma), Lyle (Beverly) and Merle (Sally); Sister, Lois (John) Blair and many nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her father. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Thursday from 4-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-9 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m.Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and proceed to St. Louis Catholic Church, 459 Sixth St., Toledo, OH for for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
