Shirley M. 'œKitty' Koseski, 81, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014, surrounded by her family. Kitty was born in Adrian, Michigan on January 8, 1933 to Woodrow and Icel (West) Wilson. She attended Waite High School and was the first female gas station attendant in East Toledo. Kitty later worked as a licensed cosmetologist. Kitty was known for her craft and artistic talents, and helped paint the carousel at the Toledo Zoo. She was a longtime member of Clark Street United Methodist Church.
Kitty is survived by her siblings, Tempas Wagner, Guy (Lynn) Wilson, Deanna Wilson, and Woodrow (Kimberly) Wilson II; sister-in-law, Sharon Wilson; along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Koseski; and brothers, Jerry Dean Wilson and Raymond Wilson.
Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, October 31, 2014 from 2:00 pm '" 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Willow Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. Jude Children'™s Research Hospital.
