Shirley A. Lorton, 69, of Toledo, Ohio passed away August 1, 2012 in her home. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 5, 1943 to Robert and Vera Lorton. Shirley had been employed at the Chrysler Jeep Corp. for over 32 years before her retirement. She loved drinking Diet Pepsi, going to Casinos, attending her grandson'™s baseball games and taking her lunch to Pearson Park and eating it by the pond. Surviving are her daughter, Cristina Lorton (Will Pratt); grandson, Dylan Clifton-Lorton; siblings, Rose and Richard. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Gerry, Carol, Bobby, Betty, Alice, Billy and Sonny. A gathering to celebrate Shirley'™s life will be held at Pearson Park on Monday, August 6, from 4-7 p.m. Please use parking lot #5.
