Shirley H. Tornai, 79, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on March 25, 2014 at Genesis Health Care in Point Place. She was born in Ross Township, Wood County, Ohio on December 12, 1934 to Newell and Frances (Luce) Warner. On October 10, 1953, Shirley married Stephen Tornai and he preceded her in death in 1989. She was employed as an assistant manager at Lane'™s and Rite Aid. Shirley enjoyed crocheting, camping at Manapoga Park and especially enjoyed being with her family. Surviving are her children, Steve (Sandy) Tornai, Larry (JJ) Tornai, Mark (Carlene) Tornai, Lori (Kenn) Jamison, Lynn (Patrick) Scott; siblings, Sandy Warner, Dick (Jeanie) Warner and Mike (Debbie) Warner; 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; Goddaughter, Lisa Warner; many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Steve and brother, Cap Warner. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Sunday from 1-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
