Shirley J. Zunk, 75, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2003 in her home. Shirley was born on October 27, 1927 in Toledo to Donald and Mildred (Horton) Mahler. Mrs. Zunk was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, VFW #4906 Auxillary, LST Association, USLST, Ohio Amphibs Association, and a 10 year member of the East YMCA where she was active in the arthritis classes. Surviving are her loving husband of 56 years, Donald; daughter, Gayle (James) Conrad; son, Mark (Linda) Zunk; daughter-in-law, Karen; grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Megan, Leeann, Kristel, Adam, Andrew and great grandson, Bradley Keith. She was preceded in death by her parents; step father, Clarence Felbinger and son, Keith. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 am in St. Mark Lutheran Church, Woodville at Elmore Street, Toledo. Friends may call in the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon where visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 9 pm and Sunday from 2 to 9 pm. Interment will be in Elliston Cemetery.
