Stanley J. Hoffman Sr., 96, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. He was born in Monroe, Michigan on April 19, 1928 to William J. and Bertha (Radtke) Hoffman. Stanley was a Teamster and worked at Matlack for 35 years before retiring in 1990. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Genoa for many years. He was a member of the Genoa American Legion and was a very proud Shriner and Mason where he belonged to the Genoa Lodge #433. He loved volunteering and was part of the "Hillbilly Clan," for the Shriners going to all of the various parades and events. He was passionate about helping others. Stanley was also a very skill wood carver, creating many beautiful pieces throughout his life, but what he cherished most was his loving family.

Stanley is survived by his son, Stanley J. Hoffman Jr.; grandchildren, James, Andrew and Taylor; and great-granddaughter, Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Roena; and son, Gary.

The family will receive friends at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd., Millbury, Ohio on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. with Masonic Lodge Services at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on, Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Clay Township Cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy in Stanley's name may be directed to Shriner's Children's Hospital or Zenobia Shriners.
