Stanley Modlinski, 61, of East Toledo passed away on April 25, 2003 in his residence. He was born April 8, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio to Ollie and Geraldine (Farrell) Modlinski . Stanley was a Army Veteran serving his country during the Viet Nam War. On December 29, 1962 he married Sharon Randolph. In July of 2002 Stanley retired from Lucent Technologies after 40 years of service. Stanley loved to fish and hunt but his greatest joy was his family. Surviving are his loving wife Sharon; daughter, Elizabeth "Chris" (Steve) Mitchell, Brandi (Martin) Norris; grandchildren, Corey, Cody, Tyler, Clay, Collin; mother, Geraldine Modlinski, mother-in-law, Elizabeth Randolph; sister, Rosemary Barker; sister-in-laws, Patricia Modlinski, Elizabeth (James) Barker, and several nieces and nephews. Stanley was preceded in death by his father, Ollie, brother James, and father-in law, Ross Randolph. Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 3-8 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon and where funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
