Stella A. Hess, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on July 22, 2003 in the home of her son, David. Stella was born on March 27, 1914 in Toledo, Ohio to Frank and Angeline(Rogowska) Koltoniak. She was the widow of Albert Hess who passed away in 1978. Mrs. Hess was a member of Heritage Christian Church. Surviving are her sons, Albert H., Jr. (Gloria), David A. (Sharon), Robert D. (Judith) Hess; daughter, Sandra (Larry) Vriezelaar; brother, Leonard Koltoniak; sisters, Clara Burno, Jenny White and Mary Melczak; 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Stella was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, John, Walter, Felix, Stanley and Robert Koltoniak; sisters, Frances Koltoniak and Helen McLaughin. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2003 from 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon. Funeral services will be conducted at Heritage Christian Church, 1640 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Internment will be in Toledo Memorial Park.
