Stephen J. Benko, 49, of Oregon passed into the arms of his savior on Sunday, January 23, 2005. Stephen was born in Toledo on June 10, 1955, to Stephen F. and Victoria (Karcsak) Benko. He was employed as an assembler at Lott Industries since 1976. Stephen was a lifetime member of St. Stephen Church. Surviving are his sister, Mary Ann (James) Repka; niece, Victoria and nephew, Matthew Repka and several cousins. He was reunited with his parents who preceded him in death. Friends and family may visit in the Kinsey Funeral Home, 2001 Consaul Street, on Tuesday from 3 to 9 p.m. Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. and scripture services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 and continue to St. Stephen's Church for the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Steve loved his family, his church, his work and especially his dogs. Memorial contributions in Steve's name can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
