Stephen T. Tresso, 55, passed away August 2, 2004 in his home. He was born on July 25, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio to Stephen and Betty (Farkas) Tresso. Steve was an US Army Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. He was employed as a sheet metal worker by Libbey Glass for 26 years, retiring in 2004. Steve was a trustee for many years with the American Flint Glass Workers Union Local 700 A.F.G.W.U. He enjoyed fishing, whitewater rafting and gardening. Surviving are his wife of 16 years, Debbie; sons, Stephen, II and William L. Tresso; brother, Francis "Fritz" (Connie) Tresso; sister, Betty Angela Tresso; grandson, Logan Tresso; friend, Patricia Roper and special nurse and friend, Pam Mapes. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Tresso. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Expressions of sympathy in Steve's memory can be made to his family.
