Steven E. Guy, 57, of Martin, Ohio. passed away Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital, Oregon. He was born in Adrian, MI on July 4, 1953 to Floyd and Mary (Stankeveh) Guy. On August 11, 1984, he married Claire Pocs. For the past 31 years, Steve worked as a dispatcher in the trucking industry, most recently with Alco Transportation for the past 17 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed golf, boating, fishing, was an avid Michigan Fan, and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. Steve and his family traveled often visiting all areas of the country. He attended Cedar Creek Church, where he volunteered with many projects, including driving supplies to Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina and rebuilding a church in Covington, Louisiana. Steve'™s true passion was his family and friends, having BBQ'™s and spending quality time together. He was truly a 'œMans Man' who will be dearly missed by those who loved him. Steve is survived by his wife of 26 years, Claire; children, Mi'™Chael (Dan) Hoca, Nichole (Dave) Snoderly, Nicholas Guy and Michael Guy; grandson, Grady Snoderly; mother, Mary Guy, brother, David Guy; sister, Deborah Guy; nieces, Emily and Melissa McIwain. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Guy. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Millbury Chapel 1111 Woodville Road on Sunday, August 15th from 2:00-9:00 pm.
