Stewart Robert Bolton, 77, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on May 19, 2003 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born May 13, 1926 in Toledo, Ohio to Robert and Rose (Frisk) Bolton. Stewart served in the US Navy during World War II, and was employed as a machine operator by Dohler Jarvis and Conrail Railroad retiring in 1986. He was a member of East Toledo Baptist Church, Dunberger American Legion, and the Northwood VFW. Stewart enjoyed traveling out west, airplanes and classic cars, Harry James music and especially enjoyed his family and grandkids.
Stewart is survived by his wife, Phyllis (McGovern); sons, David (Lori), Roger (Jackie) and Tom (Diana) Bolton; daughters, Judy Bolton and Sue Ann Pompili Socha; brother, Harry Bolton; sister, June Shepard; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Lynn Foreman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon where funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 23, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Willow Cemetery. Contributions in Stewart's memory can be made to East Toledo Baptist Church.
