Susan Erdmann, age 65 of Oregon, Ohio passed away surrounded by her family on November 29, 2012. Susan was born on April 8, 1947 to William and Beverly (Susor) Schnee. She married the love of her life, Karl Erdmann in 1965. Susan was a Clay High graduate of the class of 1965. She was on the Board of Directors for the Lady Irish Fast Pitch organization, where she was the Director of Casino Night, Director of Apparel, Director of team Managers along with being a Team Manager, and Directed the Fall Harvest Tournament for the past 7 years. Susan dedicated her life to fastpitch and slowpitch softball, grandkids, and her family. She had a large influence and touched many lives in, and around the softball community, especially girls fastpitch and ladies slowpitch softball. Susan is survived by her daughters, Kerri (Jack) McKenzie and Kristi (Michael Bowlin) Erdmann; grandchildren, Hayli (Joey) and Christian Erdmann, Jake and Alec McKenzie; great-granddaughter Samiyah Erdmann; brother, Douglas (Kathy) Schnee; sister, Shirley (Tom Tavino) Crabtree; step-sister, Connie (Bill) Sager; and step-brother, Dan (Bonnie) Phillips. Susan was preceded in death by her parents and husband Karl of 33 years. Friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert & Pavley Funeral home, 440 S. Coy Road, on Saturday from 4-8 p.m. and Sunday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Monday December 3rd at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorials in Susan'™s name may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio 30000 E. River Road, and Mercy Children'™s Hospital Foundation.
