Susan Marie Meis, age 73, of Curtice, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Friday, November 14, 2025. She was born on January 30, 1952, to Joseph and Margaret (Alexo) Seferian.

Sue graduated from Clay High School in 1970 and later earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Toledo. She dedicated more than five decades of service to St. Charles Hospital, retiring in 2023 as a laboratory technician after an extraordinary 52-year career marked by compassion, diligence, and commitment. A woman of deep faith, Sue was an active member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, where she found joy in worship, community, and service. Sue will be remembered for her kind heart, her unwavering devotion to her family and friends, and the warmth she brought to everyone she met. Sue was also a gifted baker, and loved to collect hand-crafted art and pottery. Sue was an animal lover and a long-standing Zoo friend at the Toledo Zoo. Sue also loved to travel with her children in her retirement.

Surviving are her loving husband of 51 years, Daniel; children, Andrew (Michelle) Meis and Alyssa Meis; siblings, Michael (Regina) Seferian, Cheryl (Tim) Kinkaid, Joesph (Sylvia) Seferian; step siblings, Christine M. Bricker, David J. (Joanne) Finger, Mark S. (Cathleen) Finger, Beth A. (Scott) Gibson and Alan M. (Sally)Finger. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Scott Seferia, sister-in-law, Mary Seferian, stepmother, Alice Seferian.

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 2:00 until 8:00 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11:00 am in St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd., Oregon where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the mass.
