Suzanne L. (Dittman) Bockelman, 69 of Oregon, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. Suzanne was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 31, 1941 to Robert H. and Wilma L. (Basillius) Dittman. Suzanne retired in 2002 from the Maumee Valley Girl Scout Council where she was an administrative assistant for 23 years. She had also worked for the former Toledo Trust Bank. Suzanne was awarded the 'œGold Award' which is the highest award given by the Girl Scouts of America. Surviving are her loving husband, George J. Bockelman; son Robert L. (Wendy) Thornton; step-children, Suzanne L., Michael J. Bockelman; 6 grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother and sister, whom Suzanne'™s family request that they do not attend visitation or funeral service. Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday and where her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
