Suzanne "Sue" Nowakowski, 65, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2008, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Sue was born on April 11, 1942, to Joseph and Angeline (Zydorczyk) Brantmyler. She was a graduate of Woodward High School. On December 18, 1965, she married Ralph Nowakowski and made their home in the Polish Village. Sue was a homemaker and devoted wife to her husband of 42 years. She also was a loving, devoted aunt and will be fondly remembered by several nephews and nieces. She is survived by her husband, Ralph; sisters, Joanne (Sylvester) Kosinski, Rita Wieczorek; sister-in-law, Gloria (John) Ritter of Lynn Haven, FL; several nephews, nieces, cousins and long time friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Maryann. To honor Sue's wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Kinsey Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements. Memorials may take the form of contributions to the family. The family wishes to thank the ICU, Palliative Care and Pastoral Care Teams at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center for their wonderful and compassionate care.
