Sydney M. Boisselle, 26, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026 with her loving family by her side. Even in her passing, Sydney was selflessly able to give life through organ donation. Her selflessness and ability to uplift others was evident throughout her life. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 23, 1999. She attended Oakdale Elementary School, Northwood School and graduated from Penta Career Center class of 2017.
She enjoyed cheerleading from 1st through her Senior year. Sydney was a member of the IBEW Local 8 Electricians Union, Toledo JATC instructor in 2025, Tutored at the Toledo JATC 2024-25, member of the Women's Committee, first woman to be elected to the Local 8 examining Board, first women to receive Apprentice of the Year, elected to the renew committee, AFL-CIO delegate and attended several conferences across the United States. It would be impossible to list all of Sydney's achievements and honors.
Sydney touched everyone she met and cared more about everyone else than she did about herself. She was pint size and full of spice. Above all, Sydney cherished her family and friends, dog Waylon, her nephews and niece who will miss her deeply. Her personality lit up a room and her loud laugh was contagious.
She is survived by her mother, Jennifer Keubler; step-father, Jason Kuebler; father, Donald Boisselle; brothers, Mark (Destiny) Ortiz and DJ Jyllian Boisselle; nephews, Manny and Madden; niece, Charolette; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; grandmother, Judy (Tim)Boaden; longtime best friend, Jordyn Holcomb; boyfriend, Andrew Enright; her baby dog, Waylon; cat, Loki. She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Phillip Cloer and grandparents, Don and Rosemary Boisselle.
Family and friends may visit Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd., Millbury, Ohio, on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 PM. Memorial contributions in Sydney's name may be given to Mercy St. Vincent Trauma ICU and Oregon Fire Department. We would like to thank both from the bottom of our hearts for their efforts, compassion and extraordinary care for Sydney and the ten more days we got to be with her. We would also like to thank Life Connections for their care and compassion during the Organ Donor process. Her heart, lungs, kidneys, liver and pancreas will save lives. She is a hero and we will honor her name forever.
