Date: September 9, 2004 Picture: No Symbol: No Sylvia A. Kish Sylvia A. Kish, 56, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2004, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. Sylvia was born July 17, 1948 in Seattle, Washington to John and Joan (Mc Grane) Van Hersett. She was the widow of Thomas Kish Sr. who passed away in 1999. Sylvia worked in the cutting department of Jobst for 28 years and also ran her own ceramic shop, "Potpourri Ceramics", for 12 years. She was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ and enjoyed making crafts and sewing. Surviving are her sons, Thomas (Ann) Kish, Todd (Shanda) Kish; mother, Joan Knighton; brothers John and Bill Van Hersett; grandchildren, Tyler Kish, Galen and Amy Maze; special friend and care giver, Michael Rable. She was preceded in death by her father, John VanHersett. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 to 9 pm in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon where funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.
