Sylvia C. Scott, 67, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania, Ohio. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 7, 1941 to Owen and Sylvia (Drake) Johnson. Sylvia enjoyed sewing, bingo, scrabble and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Sylvia (Scott) Burke, Richard (Jennette) Kohn, Karen M. Kohn, Beth Ann (George) Aouad, Jammie (Brian) Babiuch and James (Michelle) Melcher; brothers, Walter (Mary Lou) and Ed (Brenda) Johnson along with Tom (Rosette), Dennis (Joey) and Daniel Barr; sisters, Nancy Meiring, Deborah Zernhel, Theresa Tomsic and Brenda (Tim) McDaniels; 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and special friend, Kathy Bowles. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; sister, Mary Patricia Johnson; brother, Owen P. Johnson Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Rd. on Thursday, February 26, 2009 from 2 pm until 9 pm where funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 1 pm. Interment will take place in Lake Township Cemetery.
